Staithes Festival of Arts and Heritage

Staithes Festival of Arts & Heritage has established itself as one of the friendliest festivals on the Yorkshire coast — a must-see weekend in the regional arts calendar.

Step inside a village like no other as the doors of cottages are thrown open, transforming Staithes into a trail of pop-up art galleries showcasing painting, print, ceramics, textiles, sculpture, photography and more.

Alongside the open studios, enjoy a programme celebrating Staithes’ rich history and heritage, including walks, talks, photographs and film shows.

Tracey Waddington

< Back to Artists

Tracey Waddington is a contemporary artist who lives and works in Yorkshire. Her expressive drawings of British wildlife often create a kind of relationship with viewers. Looking into the soulful eyes of ravens or dozing along with foxes delight those who have often had personal encounters with wild animals that are remembered and recounted as lifelong stories that fill hearts and souls. Wild animals are magical and wonderful and when they honour us with their presence we are filled with wonderment and joy.
