Kate is a North Yorkshire artist residing in the harbour town of Whitby. Living on the coast has influenced her work immensely and she takes a particular interest in it’s marine life and the craftsman built boats that populate its rugged seascape. Working most often on a large scale in oils, Kate applies paint with a palette knife in a bold contemporary colour palette.
