A maker for many years I create all sorts of things. I am hugely inspired by years of travel and my love for the natural world. I love bold colours and texture. Working with textiles I create dolls and other creatures, using print, crochet and also embroidery. I use string and natural and / or recycled materials to make macrame wall and plant hangings and colourful and upbeat jewellery. things I make are made to last and it is important to me to have a minimal impact on the environment. My creations are colourful and uplifting appeal to adults and youngsters alike.

Venue: Fishermans Store, Beckhside

Medium: macrame, textiles, print
