Staithes Festival of Arts and Heritage

Staithes Festival of Arts & Heritage has established itself as one of the friendliest festivals on the Yorkshire coast — a must-see weekend in the regional arts calendar.

Step inside a village like no other as the doors of cottages are thrown open, transforming Staithes into a trail of pop-up art galleries showcasing painting, print, ceramics, textiles, sculpture, photography and more.

Alongside the open studios, enjoy a programme celebrating Staithes’ rich history and heritage, including walks, talks, photographs and film shows.

I paint stylised, nature-led scenes inspired by the sea and nature, where organic forms and subtle detail create a sense of movement and balance. My work is designed to bring calm, warmth, and a touch of the otherworldly into everyday spaces. I work spontaneously—sketching minimally, layering base colours, and letting emotion and intuition dictate the evolution of each piece.

Venue: Seacrest, Barrass Square, Staithes
