Step inside a village like no other as the doors of cottages are thrown open, transforming Staithes into a trail of pop-up art galleries showcasing painting, print, ceramics, textiles, sculpture, photography and more.

Alongside the open studios, enjoy a programme celebrating Staithes’ rich history and heritage, including walks, talks, photographs and film shows.

Charlotte Willoughby-Paul

Charlotte Willoughby-Paul is a painter and printmaker originally from West Berkshire. She studied Fine Art at York St John University and has since lived in York as an illustrator and pianist. Charlotte paints North Yorkshire scenes in gem like colours with a love of the outdoors:- wild flowers paths, harbours, sunsets and reflections. Beauty in nature as a haven sparks a joy of colour and light in her artworks which have recently been shown at Saltaire Gallery, Staithes Festival of Arts and Heritage, Scarborough Art Gallery, Cupola Contemporary Gallery, Sheffield , York Open Studios and sells internationally.
