Staithes Festival has established itself as one of the friendliest festivals on the coast – a must-see event in the regional arts calendar.

Festival 2024 is on Saturday 14 & Sunday 15 September, with preview night 7pm-8.30pm Friday 13 September

Doors of cottages are thrown open as pop-up art galleries in a unique selling exhibition.

Dawn Stockbridge

Dawn Stockbridge is an emerging artist from Richmond North Yorkshire. Formerly an Art Educator with a fine art degree from Bretton Hall College. Her work is inspired by nature, capturing momentary observations of evocative space and wildlife. At times her images delve into storytelling, myth and the magical. This eclectic studio collection includes Charcoal drawings, earth pigment painting, works in ink and Acrylic. Many pieces showcase natural / eco materials and non-toxic products. This is an exhibition of contrasts - from the small and direct to the large and dramatic. Drawings and paintings which explore and celebrate relationship with the natural world.
