Amelie’s work mainly features the florals and plants she sees throughout the seasons, using a colour palette inspired by nature. She creates designs for fabric by combining traditional techniques such as hand drawing, painting and printmaking with digital processes to create seamless repeating patterns. These are professionally printed onto organic cotton or cotton-linen which she uses to create homewares and accessories such as lampshades, pouches and hair scarves. She also has a range of artworks which compliment her fabric designs – drawn from the same inspirations and colour palette. Her gouache paintings feature plants, florals and occasionally birds.
